Online Art Contest

We are gladly presenting to you art works from the Shuya Orphanage children. Please, pick one you like the most and e-mail us a short message to akotchan@excite.com with the name of the child or the picture number. All kids already received great prizes, but 3 kids with the best score from this on-line contest will go to Ivanovo Circus show and the winner will receive the Grand Prize – one year of scholarship at the Shuya Art School. You can help this child to become a professional artist simply by voting on-line for the picture you like. You can vote ones a day. Thank you for joining this contest and please come to visit us again.

Welcome to the Christmas Celebration at the Shuya Orphanage

We are excited to share a few pictures from the Christmas party at the Shuya orphanage. (please, click on pictures to enlarge)

Art works displayed for the contest.

Kids received great Christmas gifts: colorful children’ Bibles, coloring books, toys, bags with candies, cookies and fruits, toothpaste and toothbrushes, and had “all they could eat” sweets and fruits on the tables for the party.

Older kids had also received hygiene products soaps and shampoos, body lotions and deodorants. They ALL are sending big “SPASIBO” (“THANK YOU”) for your help.

Our Russian team did a great job putting this party together and delivers gifts to kids.

Please, come back later this week for the full story, more pictures from the party and to join online art contest. Many kids from the orphanage did art works for this contest and already received great prizes. But we want to do one more thing: we will try to publish all art works on our site, so you can pick the picture you like most; voting online and the winner, the one who gets the majority of votes will receiver the grand prize.
